Online Doctor Consultation (video/phone)
Private online doctor consultations by video or phone from the convenience of your home.
Service Description
Book a private online doctor consultation with CUC and speak with an experienced doctor by secure video or telephone without needing to attend the clinic. Online consultations are suitable for many non-emergency medical concerns, including new or ongoing symptoms, medication reviews, general health advice and follow-up care. Your doctor will review your symptoms and relevant medical history and advise on the most appropriate next steps. Where clinically appropriate, your doctor may arrange prescriptions, referrals, medical certificates, blood tests or further investigations. Some conditions cannot be safely assessed remotely and may require an in-person examination at our Kildare or Cavan clinic, additional testing or referral to another healthcare service. You do not need to be registered with CUC to book an online consultation. New and existing patients are welcome. Online consultations are not suitable for medical emergencies or symptoms requiring urgent physical assessment. If your doctor determines that an in-person examination is necessary, you will be advised accordingly.
