Laser Skin Lesion Removal
Doctor-led assessment and laser treatment for suitable warts, skin tags and benign skin lesions.
Service Description
CUC provides doctor-led assessment and laser treatment of suitable skin lesions in Kildare and Cavan, using advanced Sciton Contour TRL™ laser technology where clinically appropriate. Laser treatment may be suitable for selected warts, skin tags and other benign skin lesions, offering precise treatment of the affected area while minimising disruption to surrounding tissue. Importantly, not every mole or skin lesion is suitable for laser removal. Any mole, changing lesion or lesion with suspicious features must first be medically assessed. Where there is concern about a precancerous or potentially cancerous lesion, your doctor may recommend an alternative treatment, biopsy, histological examination or referral rather than laser treatment. At CUC, your appointment begins with a doctor-led skin and lesion assessment. Your doctor will determine the nature of the lesion and advise whether laser treatment, minor surgical removal or another management approach is most appropriate. Treatment options, expected healing, potential risks, scarring and aftercare will be discussed before proceeding.
