Taking the step into independent practice is exciting, and having an established healthcare group behind you can make a difference.

At CUC, you can develop your practice within a professional clinic environment, with organisational support and the opportunity to connect with our wider team.

Choose your own working hours, subject to room availability, and build a practice that suits your professional goals.

Work independently or explore opportunities to collaborate with other CUC clinicians.

You will manage your own working schedule, appointments and patient list. The support provided by CUC, use of our brand and respective responsibilities will be clearly agreed before you begin.

Space for women’s health services.

We’re particularly interested in hearing from GPs and nurses wishing to provide women’s health services.

Depending on your qualifications, scope of practice and the suitability of the available facilities, these could include:

Women’s health consultations.
Menopause consultations and ongoing support.
Contraception and reproductive health advice.
Cervical screening, subject to the relevant service requirements and approvals.

We also welcome enquiries from other healthcare professionals whose services would complement the care available at CUC.

All proposed services will be discussed before an arrangement is agreed, to ensure the space is appropriate for your practice.

When enquiring, please include:

Your profession and relevant registration.
A brief description of your proposed services.
Your preferred clinic location.
Your preferred days and frequency.
Any equipment, storage or clinical support requirements.

We can then discuss room suitability, availability, rental terms and what is included.

Clear responsibilities from the beginning.

Practitioners must hold appropriate professional registration and insurance for the services they provide.

As an independent clinician, you will remain responsible for your clinical decisions and care, working schedule, appointments and patient list.

Arrangements for patient records, confidentiality, equipment, infection prevention, organisational support and any service-specific requirements will be clearly agreed before you begin, alongside the terms for practising under the CUC brand.
