Service Description
CUC provides a comprehensive annual medical health check in Kildare and Cavan, combining a doctor-led health assessment with basic blood testing to give you a clearer picture of your overall health. Your appointment includes a review of your medical history, current medications, lifestyle, family history and any health concerns, together with appropriate clinical observations and examination. Your doctor will discuss relevant risk factors and identify areas where further investigation or preventative healthcare may be beneficial. The health check includes basic routine blood tests to assess key markers of general health. The exact blood tests requested will be determined by your doctor based on your age, medical history and individual risk factors. Once your results are available, they will be reviewed by a CUC doctor. Where appropriate, we may recommend lifestyle changes, further blood testing, additional investigations, medication, monitoring or specialist referral. Additional or specialised blood tests requested outside the standard health check may incur an additional charge. An annual health check can be valuable even when you feel well, helping identify potential health concerns and risk factors at an earlier stage. Appointments are available for new and existing patients at CUC Medical in Kildare and Cavan.
Cancellation Policy
CUC Medical Booking & Cancellation Policy By booking an appointment with CUC Medical, you agree to the following terms. Cancellations & Changes We require at least 48 hours' notice to cancel, reschedule or amend an appointment. Changes made with less than 48 hours' notice will incur a €50 cancellation fee. Failure to attend without notice will also result in a €50 fee. Outstanding fees may need to be paid before further appointments can be booked. Genuine exceptional circumstances may be considered at CUC's discretion. Late Arrivals Please arrive on time. Significant lateness may result in your consultation being shortened or rescheduled if there is insufficient time to provide appropriate medical care. A €50 fee may apply where an appointment cannot proceed due to late arrival. Medical Appointments Appointment duration and fees vary depending on the service booked. Please select the most appropriate appointment type when booking. Additional concerns, investigations or procedures may require a separate appointment or additional fee. Booking a specific service does not guarantee that a test, prescription, procedure, referral or treatment will be provided. All medical care is subject to clinical assessment and will only be provided where considered medically appropriate. Medical Information Please provide complete and accurate information regarding your symptoms, medical history, medications, allergies and relevant previous investigations or treatments. Additional tests, blood tests, imaging or specialist referral may be recommended following consultation and may incur separate fees. Prescriptions, Certificates & Forms Prescriptions, medical certificates, referral letters, forms and other documentation are issued at the clinician's discretion and only where clinically appropriate. Additional fees may apply. Test Results & Follow-Up Some investigations may require a follow-up consultation to discuss results or ongoing treatment. Patients should ensure their contact details are accurate and attend follow-up appointments where advised. Emergencies CUC Medical is a private primary-care service and is not a substitute for an Emergency Department.
