Joint & Pain Injections
Doctor-led joint and pain injections in Kildare & Cavan for suitable musculoskeletal conditions.
Service Description
CUC provides joint and pain injections in Kildare and Cavan for patients experiencing suitable musculoskeletal and joint-related conditions. Following a doctor-led assessment, injections may be considered for certain causes of joint pain, inflammation and musculoskeletal symptoms, including problems affecting areas such as the knee, shoulder, elbow and other suitable joints or soft tissues. Depending on your condition and clinical assessment, your doctor will determine whether an injection is appropriate and discuss the most suitable treatment option. Where required, imaging, blood tests, physiotherapy or specialist referral may be recommended before or instead of injection treatment. Your appointment includes assessment of your symptoms, relevant medical history and previous treatments. Your doctor will explain the expected benefits, limitations, potential risks and aftercare before proceeding. Booking an appointment does not guarantee that an injection will be performed. Treatment will only proceed where your CUC doctor considers it clinically appropriate and safe. Fees vary depending on the type of injection, medication or product required and complexity of treatment and will be discussed before treatment.
