Service Description
Book a private medical consultation at CUC in Kildare or Cavan for professional assessment, diagnosis and management of a wide range of everyday and ongoing health concerns. Our medical consultations provide dedicated time with an experienced doctor to discuss your symptoms, medical history and concerns. Appointments are available for acute illness, infections, ongoing symptoms, medication reviews, chronic health concerns, general health advice and follow-up care. Where clinically appropriate, your doctor can arrange prescriptions, blood tests, diagnostic investigations, medical certificates, referrals or further treatment. Additional services or investigations may incur a separate fee. CUC also provides access to same-day and urgent doctor appointments, subject to availability, for patients who require prompt assessment but do not require emergency hospital care. You do not need to be registered with CUC to book a medical consultation. New and existing patients are welcome at our private medical clinics in Kildare and Cavan. Please note that CUC is not an Emergency Department. Serious or life-threatening symptoms require appropriate emergency medical care.
Cancellation Policy
CUC Medical Booking & Cancellation Policy By booking an appointment with CUC Medical, you agree to the following terms. Cancellations & Changes We require at least 48 hours' notice to cancel, reschedule or amend an appointment. Changes made with less than 48 hours' notice will incur a €50 cancellation fee. Failure to attend without notice will also result in a €50 fee. Outstanding fees may need to be paid before further appointments can be booked. Genuine exceptional circumstances may be considered at CUC's discretion. Late Arrivals Please arrive on time. Significant lateness may result in your consultation being shortened or rescheduled if there is insufficient time to provide appropriate medical care. A €50 fee may apply where an appointment cannot proceed due to late arrival. Medical Appointments Appointment duration and fees vary depending on the service booked. Please select the most appropriate appointment type when booking. Additional concerns, investigations or procedures may require a separate appointment or additional fee. Booking a specific service does not guarantee that a test, prescription, procedure, referral or treatment will be provided. All medical care is subject to clinical assessment and will only be provided where considered medically appropriate. Medical Information Please provide complete and accurate information regarding your symptoms, medical history, medications, allergies and relevant previous investigations or treatments. Additional tests, blood tests, imaging or specialist referral may be recommended following consultation and may incur separate fees. Prescriptions, Certificates & Forms Prescriptions, medical certificates, referral letters, forms and other documentation are issued at the clinician's discretion and only where clinically appropriate. Additional fees may apply. Test Results & Follow-Up Some investigations may require a follow-up consultation to discuss results or ongoing treatment. Patients should ensure their contact details are accurate and attend follow-up appointments where advised. Emergencies CUC Medical is a private primary-care service and is not a substitute for an Emergency Department.
